And then there were bugs and wind......

The first and only time I played a movie outside I discovered some bugs that were drawn to the light, tons of bugs.  I am afraid of all bugs, I was by myself so I had to pack everything up and run inside screaming.  The is actually took several trips because it started with me screaming and running inside to come up with a plan to get back outside and save the equipment.  So much for the outdoor theater. What could I do with the backyard now.

Now the wind came, well it was always there but some days worse than others.  This is a vacation house for us so it took a while to realize it was windy everyday of the year except one. :-(

I was constantly getting up on my 10' ladder to unwrap the curtains from the ceiling fans.  So I came up with this brilliant idea to put fishing weights in the hem.  BIG mistake.  Next thing I know the wind still blew the curtains into the ceiling fans but now the weights cracked all the lights and bulbs.

The wind is such a factor look what is did to one of the ceiling fans.  These are the replaced bulbs and shades. This fan use to have 5 blades.
